The four who started it.

MDplus began with a Slack workspace on August 27, 2019 and a first meetup of around 20–30 non-traditional medical students in New York City on October 2, 2019.

Co-Founder

Founded MD+ in 2019 at Mount Sinai. Stanford CS → MS in Management Science → vaccine researcher at NIH → PM at PatientPing → healthcare investor at AlleyCorp. Now an Emergency Medicine resident at Stanford and Venture Fellow at a16z bio+health.

Sarah Zweifach

Co-Founder

NYU MD/MBA. One of the four co-founders at the October 2019 founding meetup. Built the early events operation that turned the Slack into a real community.
